A short drive up the scenic coast Highway One finds elephant seals, sea otters, a historic light house, and the Hearst Castle with daily tours. Go inland for the many top quality vineyards with casual and friendly wine-tasting.  Do a lot, or do nothing....you'll wish you'd had more time to spend in this wonderful spot.
